This is the design blog of Shona Rain, aka RetroDolly on stock illustration sites and as Dark Rain on Digital Art sites.
With over 10 years experience as a Graphic Designer, I’ve designed for clients as diverse as Discovery Channel, BBC, Viasat, Thomas Cook, Carphone Warehouse, Sendo, Citibank, Nestle Kitkat, etc.
Starting as a traditional artist (i.e. hand-drawn, inked and painted work) I’ve picked up expertise in a variety of software along the way. These include Photoshop, Illustrator, Coreldraw, Painter among others.
I aim to share some of this expertise in the form of Tutorials, and some of my accumulated unused artwork and graphic files for anyone who might find them useful. This is in good faith i.e. in the hope you do not re-sell these in your own name. You’re free to use them for personal work and for professional use eg. as website headers. A link back would be much appreciated.
